All of this stuff keeps happening (or not happening..) and I know I'm supposed to "trust" God, but how do I do that? What does that even mean? And how is it any different from optimistic atheists or good people who believe in karma?
doing good works does not necessarily guarantee good things from God! and optimistic atheists just hope for good things all their life according to what's good to them.
i've been struggling with this a lot as well, but what i've got so far is: trusting in God is hard, but the difference is that even though things seem to suck, we have to trust that God knows whatever happens to us will be good for us in the long run. jia you salina!!
